Finolex does not make 0.75 sq mm or 0.5 sq mm in the house-wire range. These are flexible multi-core cable sizes, used for appliance leads, extension boards and light fittings — not for wiring a wall. What these sizes are actually for

• Light fittings, where the fitting's own tail connects to the point.
• Control and signal wiring in panels.
