Size the MCB to the wire
The breaker protects the wire, so it is chosen from the wire size: 6 or 10 A on 1.5 sq mm lighting, 16 A on 2.5 sq mm sockets, 20 or 25 A on 4.0 sq mm geyser and AC circuits. Use the MCB selector.
