There's one question that instantly separates genuine Finolex sellers from the rest, and almost nobody asks it: "Are you an authorised Finolex dealer or distributor — and may I see your certificate?"

The certificate every authorised partner holds

Finolex appoints its dealers and distributors formally, and authorised channel partners hold a certificate from Finolex confirming their status. A genuine partner is proud of it — it usually hangs at the counter or is produced within a minute of asking. Hesitation, excuses ("it's with the owner", "it's at the other branch"), or offence at the question are all answers in themselves.

Why authorisation matters so much

• Supply chain you can trust. Authorised dealers buy through Finolex's official channel, so there's no gap where duplicates can enter. Unauthorised sellers buy from "the market" — and that's exactly where counterfeit stock circulates.
• Warranty that actually stands. Brand warranty support flows through the authorised channel with proper billing.
• Accountability. An authorised partner has a relationship with Finolex to protect. A roadside seller has nothing to lose by passing off a fake.
